BIONOMICS 4000 EX GRIP (Length:12" Extended Grip for Casting Rods)
Numerous fishing rods for lure fishing worldwide come with a straight shaft that is directly inserted through the grip. However, this design leads to unbalanced weight distribution since the reel is placed on top of the shaft. As a result, users experience unnecessary strain and twisting in their wrists and arms. Although the blank thru-grip is a lightweight and cost-effective alternative, it fails to alleviate the burden on the body. To address this problem, the Bionomics 4000EX grip was created. This grip features an interchangeable shaft part that can accommodate various shaft types to suit the user's requirements. The product's designer introduced the world's first thumb rest in 1989 and later developed a reel positioning system that can be adjusted to the user's finger length, allowing for better thumb control. The grip is well-balanced and easy to hold, making it perfect for double-handed casting. Additionally, it is made from sustainable materials such as natural wood and renewable metals, with less than 1% petroleum-based materials utilized. The manufacturing process also avoids using molds with a significant environmental impact, making it an environmentally friendly product.
BIONOMICS 2500S GRIP FOR FISHING RODS (2022)
Henry Haneda is an industrial designer and photographer. His passion is sport fishing. However, from the beginning, Haneda realized that the human body was not as simple as using typical tools in the market, and that many negative effects were hidden there.
Many of the lure fishing rods that use spinning reels on the market have many problems with how to connect the reel and grip, and it was generally difficult to set it in the ideal reel mounting position. In addition, there are many things that are not suitable for firmly fixing the reel so that it does not shift, and the fixing part called the reel foot of the reel connection part also has dimensional differences depending on the manufacturer, so even if you tighten the fixing ring with force There were many drawbacks such as loosening immediately. I have never seen a good fixing method. Also, depending on the fixing method, the fixing tightening ring is circular, so when you grasp the grip, the ring causes discomfort to your fingers. The biggest problem with regular grips is that many of them have a circular cross section, so with such grips the grip rotates in the angler's hands to accurately cast the lure where the fish are. Because it was hard to hold, it was difficult to grasp it firmly, and as a result, inaccurate casting was likely to occur.
To remedy these shortcomings, we changed the reel fixing method to our own system and anatomically analyzed the grip of the circular cross section, resulting in the discovery of the ideal organic form. It is composed of a very complicated curved surface and guarantees stable holding during casting, and at the same time, it succeeded in creating a very efficient BIONOMICS 2500S grip with no loss of power even when fighting with fish. ..
Last year we launched the Bionomic 4000 Grip for differently shaped bait casting reels, further expanding the possibilities of sport fishing on spinning rods as well. We are convinced that these grips should be a gospel for international casting athletes who hit the target accurately and can perform a stable cast with high accuracy.

Finally, we are able to unveil a new fishing grip and a kitchen knife that allows people with difficult-to-use symptoms to have the least grip strength and very little pain. Product development that can contribute to these vulnerable people is a specialty of product development research staff. The work of this research and development, which has been researched and developed from the earliest in the world, gradually grasps the current situation of the aging society where the number of people who can not do various things such as cooking and fishing due to pain is increasing. It has been recognized around the world.
